YRT Route Detours on Canada Day

York Region Transit has announced detours for a number of routes on Canada Day, this Sunday:

YRT Route 98 and Viva Blue will be on detour between 7:30 and 11:00 am for the Aurora Canada Day parade. YRT describes the detour as follows:

Southbound: From Yonge, left on St John's Sdrd, right on Industrial Pky, left on Yonge to route.

Northbound: Reverse southbound detour routing.
YRT Routes 1, 40 and 41, plus Viva Blue and TTC Route 129A will be on detour between 3:00 and 5:00 pm for the People's Parade in Markham. See YRT's website and the TTC's website for the full details.

Remember also that YRT will be operating Sunday/holiday service on both Canada Day and the holiday Monday.
